TERMS and CONDITIONS

Thank you for your interest in the AG Solar Giveaway Competition (“Competition”).

1. The Promoter is AG Solar Pty Ltd, ABN 91 633 907 427, whose registered office is at: 2/11 Wurrook Circuit, Caringbah, 2229 NSW.
2. Information on prizes and how to enter AG Solar competitions form part of these Terms & Conditions.
3. By entering AG Solar competitions, entrants accept the Terms & Conditions.
4. Entry to the competition is only accepted between 19:00 AEST on 20/05/2024 and closes at 16:00 AEST on 28/05/2024 (“Promotional Period”).
5. There will be one (1) winner in total.
6. This promotion is a game of skill, based on the creativity of the answer of the comment. The judges’ decision is final and binding. As such, no correspondence will be entered into.
7. If any prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value.
8. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take the prize or an element of the prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited and redrawn.
9. All prize winners agree to the use of their name and address suburb for publicity and competition purposes, without compensation.
10. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

12. By entering the Competition you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
13. Entry to the Competition is open to visitors of the AG Solar and Facebook Page and Official AG Solar Instagram Page who live in Sydney and the Illawarra.
14.  As a Condition to the Competition, a Participant must have a valid Facebook account or Instagram account.
15. They must follow and like AG Solar on Instagram and/or Facebook depending on the platform of entering.
16. Must like the post, tag at least three people and comment why you think solar energy is awesome.
17. Additionally must have a residential physical address in Sydney or the Illawarra area which is deemed by AG Solar appropriate to install the solar on. The winner may be already have solar and the prize can be added to make it a larger system if assessed able by AG Solar with any upgrades at the owners cost. If AG solar deem the property not suitable to install the system the solar may be transferred to a friend or family member in Sydney or the Illawarra if they have an appropriate roof and capabilities required for the solar system.
18. Only persons of 18 years of age or over at the time of entry are eligible to participate.
19. Employees of AG Solar and their families shall not be eligible to win the Competition.
20. Only residents in Sydney and the Illawarra may enter this Competition.
21. Only one entry per person, per day is permitted. If more entered then only the first entry is included.
22. Bulk, trade or third party applications are not permitted, and will be disqualified. The first entry will however remain valid.
23. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram and all entrants in the promotion release Facebook and Instagram of any responsibility in relation to this promotion. Facebook, Instagram and other social media channels shall not be liable in any way whatsoever to the Participants. Furthermore, any questions, comments or complaints regarding the promotion will be directed to the Promoter. Personal information supplied in entering this Competition is provided to the promoter and not to Facebook or Instagram.
24. Participants will need to enter the Competition on Facebook via the AG Solar Sydney Illawarra Facebook Page the following way:

Participants will need to enter the Competition on Instagram via the official agsolar_sydneyillawarra Instagram Page the following way:

a) Follow our official AG Solar Instagram page

b) Like the competition post.

c) Tag three people in the comments and tell us why you think solar energy is so awesome.

25. This Competition is a game of skill – the response deemed the best by the judges will win. One extra point will be given in judging if shared to your story.

26. Judges will consist of two employees and a Director of AG Solar Sydney Illawarra. There will be one winner across Facebook and Instagram.

27. Judges shall have the sole discretion to elect Prize Winners among the Participants. Participants acknowledge that the decision of Judges shall be final and that neither the Judges nor the Promoter shall be liable in any way whatsoever to the Participants.

28. Judges will render its decision on the AG Solar Facebook Page and Official AG Solar Instagram Page by 7:00PM May 29 2024 and will send a Facebook private message or Instagram private message to the Prize Winner following the public announcement on the story.

The winner will receive the following with RRP $5673: 4.1kW Sunpower 405 Performance series panels

1 x Fronius Primo inverter

Installation (if above points are met)

29. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify or reject any entry the Promoter believes to be in conflict with its promotion or not made in good faith or on any other reasonable grounds.

30. No cash nor any other alternatives will be offered to Prize Winners.

31. The Promoter will provide the 4.1kW system and installation cost (if the winner meets the requirements above). AG Solar will not pay for any further electrical services to the winner other than a straight forward 4.1kW installation with 10 panels and an inverter. Any upgrades or further electrical requirements will be paid for at the prize winners cost and are not part of the prize. The winner can add a larger solar system or further electrical requirements but these are required to be paid for at a standard quoted price from AG Solar if the winner decides to go ahead. Only the standard installation of a 4.1kW installed system in Sydney or the Illawarra is part of the prize. Further upgrades or requirements are to be paid for by the prize winner. This can otherwise be transferred to someone in Sydney or the Illawarra with the correct requirements.

32. Date and time of posting of the story and/or issuing the message shall be considered as the “Date and Time of notification”

33. Prize must be claimed within 48 hours of Date and Time of notification.

34. All rights to prizes not claimed within this period will be redrawn. Prize Winner may need to verify their proper identity and confirm residential address before claiming prizes.

35. The Promoter may cancel or amend the Terms and Conditions of this Competition at any time by publishing the relevant details on this Terms and Conditions page.

36. The Promoter shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform due to any event beyond The Promoter’s control.

37. Participants will or may be required to participate in publicity advertising and promotion without additional compensation. Entry to the Competition shall be deemed consent to use your entry and your name for publicity, advertising and promotion purposes.

39. Any incorrect or inaccurate personal data entry, or for any faulty or failed electronic data transmissions.

40. Inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet or the Facebook page or any combination thereof.

41.The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize.

42. The Promoter, their associated agencies and companies associated with this competition take no responsibility for prize damage or loss in transit and the Promoter will not be responsible for any delay in delivery, damage to or loss in transit of the prize.

43. Any person posting, or seen to be posting, comments to the AG Solar Facebook Page, Official AG Solar Instagram Page or elsewhere during the promotion that are considered bullying, spiteful or upsetting to other participants, or directly aimed at the Promoter, will have their comments removed and will be disqualified from the promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to alert the social media channel to any such behaviour, which may result in the person’s account being frozen pending investigation.
